Blizzard Entertainment's Overwatch 2 is a 2022 first-person shooter video game. The game aims to provide a shared environment for player-versus-player (PvP) scenarios while providing persistent cooperative modes as a sequel and replacement to the 2016 hero shooter Overwatch.

Players choose a "hero" from a pool of 35 characters in Overwatch 2, a hero shooter in which they are divided into two teams.
