Starbreeze Studios is launching Payday 3, an intense first-person shooter game, on September 21, 2023. But before the official release, there's an Open Beta happening from September 8 to 11. In this guide, we'll show you how to easily play with your friends in Payday 3. So, let's get ready for some action-packed heist adventures!

Payday 3 How to Play With Friends? 

Accessing Your Friends List:

• On PC: Press the default key "O" on your keyboard.
• On Xbox: Press the Menu Button on your controller.

Inviting Friends:

• Once you're in the Friends List, your friends on the same platform will be displayed on the left-hand side in the social menu.
• To invite a friend to your party, select their name :
• On PC, press "P" to send a party invite.
• On Xbox, press the Right Stick (RS) button on your Xbox Controller.

Adding Friends from Outside Your Platform:

• If you want to add players from outside your platform, use the search bar at the bottom of the social menus and search for their username.

Categorizing Friends by Platform:

• Friends you've added on different platforms will be categorized accordingly:
• Steam: Under the "Steam Friends" category.
• Xbox: Under the "Xbox Friends" category.
• Nebula: Friends added through the in-game friend feature will appear under the "Payday" category.

Public and Private Lobbies:

• When Payday 3 launches on September 21, 2023, it will offer both public and private lobbies.
• You'll have the option to create either a public or private lobby.
• To play with friends, you can create a private lobby and invite them, ensuring a smooth and coordinated gaming experience.

Payday 3 is the highly anticipated upcoming first-person shooter game from Starbreeze Studios, set to be published by Deep Silver. Serving as the third installment in the popular Payday series of video games and a direct sequel to Payday 2, it is generating considerable excitement among fans.

With its release date scheduled for September 21, 2023, players can look forward to another thrilling heist-filled adventure in the criminal underworld.

Payday 3 Development

The development of Payday 3 has been marked by significant milestones and investments. Starbreeze Studios announced its development in May 2016, following their acquisition of the IP for approximately US$30 million.

In March 2021, Plaion (formerly Koch Media) pledged €50 million to support both development and marketing, including a substantial 18 months of post-launch support utilizing a games-as-a-service approach. Payday 3 was originally built on Unreal Engine 4 but will receive an upgrade to Unreal Engine 5 after its launch.

Notably, console versions will mirror the PC platform version, a departure from its predecessor, attributed to the game's Unreal Engine foundation. The game's official release date was confirmed for September 21, 2023, following a teaser trailer release on January 1, 2023, titled "A New Criminal Dawn.
