Missing Person Rewards in Persona 3 Reload

  • Reward Variety:

    • The rewards for saving missing persons are diverse, offering players a range of incentives. From substantial amounts of in-game currency to practical items, skill cards that enhance character abilities, and key components crucial for completing Requests, the variety ensures each rescue is worthwhile.
  • Claiming Rewards:

    • To collect the rewards earned through successful rescue missions, players should visit the police station. Officer Kurosawa, stationed at the police station, acts as the intermediary for receiving the rewards. Upon speaking to him, players can express their efforts in saving the missing person and, in return, obtain the rewards provided by the grateful family.
  • No Collective Reward:

    • While there is no overarching reward for saving all missing people in the game, the individual rewards acquired through each rescue mission contribute significantly to character progression and resources. Players are encouraged to focus on the unique rewards offered for each successfully completed mission.
  • Repeatable Process:

    • Saving missing persons is a repeatable process, allowing players to engage in this side activity during their Tartarus visits. The recurring nature of these missions provides an ongoing opportunity to accumulate rewards and contribute to the development of the protagonist and their social links.
  • Timely Rescues and Social Links:

    • Failing to rescue a missing person within the specified deadline can lead to their permanent disappearance from the game. This not only affects the potential rewards but also impacts the associated social link. Players should prioritize timely rescues to maintain positive connections with characters in the game.
  • Incentive for Player Engagement:

    • The inclusion of diverse and valuable rewards serves as a compelling incentive for players to actively participate in the search and rescue missions. This dynamic element adds depth to the gameplay, encouraging players to explore Tartarus thoroughly and contribute to the overarching narrative of the game.

Persona 3

Persona 3 Reload is a video game where you play a character who goes back to their hometown ten years after their parents passed away. It's a remake of Persona 3 from 2006 and is part of the larger Megami Tensei series. You can play it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, and it was released on February 2, 2024.

Just like in the original game, the main character is a high school student with the ability to summon a Persona, a manifestation of their inner spirit. They join a group called the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (S.E.E.S.) along with other Persona users. Together, their job is to defeat Shadows and solve the mystery of the Dark Hour.

Fans had been asking for a remake of Persona 3, especially after the success of Persona 5 in 2016, and Atlus officially acknowledged these requests. Reload's development started in 2019, and it was first reported in April 2023 before being officially announced in June 2023.

The game faithfully retells the story of the original Persona 3 but with updated graphics and features to match the later games in the series. Shigenori Soejima supervised the new art direction by Tomohiro Kumagai and character designs by Azusa Shimada. Atsushi Kitajoh created new music and rearranged the original compositions, featuring new vocal tracks by Azumi Takahashi and Lotus Juice.

Persona 3 Gameplay

Persona 3 is a game that mixes role-playing and simulation elements. In the game, you play as a high-school student dealing with daily life, going to school, and building relationships. But, during a mysterious time called the Dark Hour, you also fight evil beings called Shadows.

Your days are split into daytime and evening. Besides scripted events, you choose how to spend your time each day, affecting your character's attributes: Academics, Charm, and Courage. In the evening, you can visit Tartarus, the main dungeon, to build your party's experience and items. On full moon days, there are boss battles to advance the story.

The game's main feature is Personas, creatures linked to Tarot cards. Each Persona has strengths, weaknesses, and different abilities. While other characters have their own Persona, the protagonist can use multiple Personas in battles.

You can create new Personas by fusing existing ones. Social links are new to the series, representing bonds formed with characters, each related to a Tarot card. Spending time with them increases social link ranks, giving bonuses when creating Personas of that Tarot card. Negative actions can break or reverse social links.

Tartarus is the main dungeon, visited in the evening. Players explore, split up party members, and battle Shadows. Boss floors and story progression impact progress. Spending too much time in Tartarus can make characters Tired or Sick, affecting performance. Battles start when you touch a Shadow, using a turn-based system with physical and elemental attacks. Exploiting weaknesses lets characters knock down enemies, gaining extra turns. Winning battles earns experience points, leveling up Personas for better stats and abilities.
