Persona 5 Tactica

Persona 5 Tactica is a tactical role-playing adventure game. It's created by P-Studio and will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on November 17, 2023. This game is part of the Persona series, which is a bigger collection of games called Megami Tensei.

In Persona 5 Tactica, the story happens at the same time as the events in Persona 5. The Phantom Thieves of Hearts find themselves in a different world filled with war and oppression. To fight against the Legionnaires, a tyrannical group, they team up with a rebel organization called the Rebel Corps. The goal is to start a revolution and bring about change.

The game's style is like other strategy RPGs. You'll move on a grid, use a weapon system, and fight in turns. It keeps some familiar elements from the Persona series, like summoning and fusing Personas, which are powerful creatures, and using different elemental abilities.

Persona 5 Tactica Gameplay

Persona 5 Tactica is a video game where you control a group of characters in a tactical role-playing adventure. The game happens on a grid-based map where you encounter enemy groups, and battles follow a turn-based system.

Your team includes the main members of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts and Erina, the leader of the Rebel Corps. You can engage enemies in different ways, like close-range attacks or by choosing actions from a menu. There's an option to use ranged weapons, like guns, which can target multiple enemies if they're close. The Phantom Thieves can also summon their Personas during battles, using various skills that cost Skill Points (SP).

The battle system involves exploiting enemy weaknesses to gain an extra turn. When surrounded by allies in a triangular formation, you can unleash a powerful move called "Triple Threat," similar to the "All-Out Attack" in Persona 5. This move can deal significant damage and potentially eliminate all targeted enemies.

Outside of battles, you can collect more Personas for Joker, the leader of the Phantom Thieves. Joker has the unique "Wild Card" ability, allowing him to use multiple Personas. You can obtain Personas by negotiating or recruiting them in battle or by fusing different Personas equipped to Joker or found in the Persona Compendium.
