Persona 5 Tactica Salmael Kingdom

Persona 5 Tactica presents a series of boss battles like Yoshiki that players must conquer to progress towards the game's end and witness the credits. However, the ultimate challenge arrives in the form of Persona 5 Tactica Salmael, the architect of the metaverse, the game's entire setting. Only by vanquishing this boss can players break free and return to reality. Yet, anticipating an easy victory in this final battle would be a mistake. This article outlines the strategy necessary to overcome the formidable Persona 5 Tactica Salmael boss.

Persona 5 Tactica Salmael Kingdom Guide

Here's a simpler breakdown of how to defeat the Persona 5 Tactica Salmael boss:

Phase 1:

At the start, split your team into two groups on either side of the boss. Focus on defeating the smaller enemies first while using ranged attacks on the boss. Always end your turn behind cover to avoid taking heavy damage from the boss' attacks.

Be aware that the boss can rotate the platforms, forcing you to move and avoid certain areas that cause damage. Keep moving, attacking the boss whenever you can until you drain its health bar for phase two.

Phase 2:

The second phase is tougher. Besides handling the boss' previous moves, now you'll face a new attack. The boss marks some platforms with numbers. You need to place the exact number of characters on these platforms to avoid taking heavy damage. The catch is, the platforms move, so you've got to watch closely.

As you damage the boss enough, it'll summon the Spire of Judgment. Your goal is to take it out quickly to prevent further damage. Deal with any enemies that appear with an all-out attack. If you don't get rid of the spire, it'll lead to more damage.

Stay on the move, manage platform numbers, and focus on attacking Salmael throughout this phase. Once you drain its health, a cutscene will wrap things up.

Persona 5 Tactica

Persona 5 Tactica came out on November 17, 2023. It's a game where you make tactical moves and play roles, made by P-Studio and sold by Sega. It's a different kind of game from the other Persona games, but it's still part of the bigger Megami Tensei group. You can play it on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

The story happens at the same time as Persona 5, and it follows the Phantom Thieves of Hearts in a world where there's a lot of fighting and unfairness. They team up with the Rebel Corps to try and change things and fight against the Legionnaires who are being mean. When you play, you move around on a grid and fight using strategies. There are also things like weapons that work better against certain enemies and battles where you take turns. The game has familiar stuff from the Persona series, like calling Personas, combining them, and using different powers.

The folks at Atlus wanted to try something new by mixing strategy games with Persona. They wanted to keep the cool things from Persona 5 while adding more thinking and planning. The result is a new adventure that adds more to the Persona story and still feels like the games before it.

Persona 5 Tactica Gameplay

In 'Persona 5 Tactica,' you lead a team through a grid-like map, facing enemies in turn-based battles. You control members of the Phantom Thieves and Erina from the Rebel Corps. During fights, you can hide to take less damage or block attacks completely. There are choices in battles, like using guns for faraway attacks or calling powerful Personas, each with unique abilities that affect enemy movements. Knock down an enemy without cover, and you get an extra turn.

When you surround enemies in a triangle with your team, you can use a super-strong attack called 'Triple Threat,' hitting all enemies in that area. As you play, you'll collect more Personas to give your team extra skills. You can get these by winning fights or combining different Personas. And as the story goes on, you'll travel through maps inspired by three real-world revolutions, facing enemy units along the way.

Persona 5 Tactica Development

Persona 5 Tactica was first shown at the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2023, signaling Atlus' move into tactical RPGs within the Persona series. Interviews in Weekly Famitsu magazine gave more details about how the game came to be. Director Naoya Maeda, producer Kazuhisa Wada, and business producer Atsushi Nomura talked about creating the game.

Wada said they wanted to expand the Persona series with a new story using Persona 5 characters. Maeda focused on making the game easy to understand for people who are new to strategy RPGs. They made it simpler to see who's strong and weak among friends and foes.

Toshiki Konishi, a composer from Atlus Sound Team, worked with Persona 5 singer Lyn Inaizumi to make new music for the game. Atlus decided to make Persona 5 Tactica because they wanted to try making a tactical game in the Persona world. Nomura and others thought the skills the Phantom Thieves have, like sneaking and observing, would fit well in a tactical game.

At first, they tried using character models from Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth, but character designer Hanako Oribe picked an art style that kept the characters' original looks while highlighting certain features. This gave the game a look similar to comic books. Even though they started with ideas from Persona Q games, the team changed the art to make the characters stand out more, matching the tactical gameplay.
