Pokémon Emerald Version is a video game from 2004. It was made by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance. It came out first in Japan in 2004 and then in other countries in 2005. This game is like the third part of the Pokémon series, following Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. It's the last game in the third generation of Pokémon games.

In Pokémon Emerald, you play as a Pokémon trainer, just like in the previous games. You control your trainer from a top-down view. Your main goal, as in Ruby and Sapphire, is to explore the Hoenn region, beat eight Pokémon Gyms, and then face the Elite Four and their Champion.

There's also a side story where you stop two bad groups from trying to use a powerful Pokémon for their own reasons. In addition to the Pokémon from Ruby and Sapphire, this game has Pokémon from Pokémon Gold and Silver that were not in Ruby and Sapphire.

Part 1 - Littleroot Town, Route 101, Oldale Town, Route 103, Route 102, Petalburg City

• Start your journey in Littleroot Town, receive your first Pokémon, and battle your rival.
• Head north through Route 101 to Oldale Town.
