Instead, players can effortlessly approach a Skyview Tower, activate their Purah Pad, and prepare their Paraglider for an exciting flight across Hyrule. However, in TOTK, some towers like the one found in Popla Foothills are damaged, requiring players to locate and repair the panels before unlocking the corresponding region's map.

How to Fix the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom?

Located at coordinates 0607, -2217, and 0051, the Skyview Tower in the Popla Foothills presents a unique challenge in TOTK. Unlike other towers, you cannot activate it instantly upon arrival. The Purah Pad panel, which sends Link soaring through the skies, flickers intermittently, signaling that it requires repairs before you can survey the surrounding area.

As you approach the tower, you'll notice a nearby well-emitting cry from its opening, accompanied by occasional text bubbles. Before embarking on a rescue mission, ensure you have a Bomb Flower in your possession. Upon descending into the well, you'll encounter a destructible rock wall. You can either throw a Bomb Flower at it or utilize our preferred method, demonstrated in the video below: attaching the Bomb Flower to an arrow and launching it at the wall.

The wall will crumble, granting access to a trapped individual. Conversing with him reveals his intention to repair the tower. He instructs you to step on a floor panel located on the opposite side of him, activating the doors. Furthermore, he informs you about an alternative cave entrance leading to the switch.

Please note that players cannot simply approach the tower and unlock or activate it in TOTK. Keep in mind that the tower is situated between Scout's Hill and Dueling Peaks. Simply find a nearby stone, pick it up, and place it on top of the stone slab. This action will successfully open the door, allowing players to progress further into the cave.
Proceed to collect the chest and return to the area just left of the door, where the Brightcap can be found. Utilize the Ascend ability, which will transport you directly to the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower. From there, you can unlock the tower and use it as a launching pad for your travels. Additionally, this action will reveal the entire area on the map.
