Republic Plot
Republic is a movie that revolves around Panja Abhiram, a youth who believes in honesty and truth after experiencing corruption in his own family. The story takes place in India around the Telleru Lake, which is essential for fishing and farming. The lake has been polluted due to fishing farms owned by 'Visakha' Vani, a politician, for over 40 years.
Abhi meets Myra, who is searching for her missing brother, and also meets Mani, who is fighting for justice against Vani. The story takes a turn when Abhi sees Guna, a goon who works under Vani, killing Mani. Abhi then finds out that he has been selected by the UPSC board to be the supreme authority of the district and that no politician can interfere with him.
He starts working towards finding Guna and bringing justice to Myra. Abhi also finds out that Vani's fishing farms contaminated the lake, which caused many neurological diseases. He confronts Vani and asks her to remove her farms and construction on the lake. However, things get violent, and the UPSC board suspends Abhi.
With all the proper evidence, Abhi and his father team up and appeal to the court, leading to Vani's and others' removal from their posts and life sentences. Despite this, construction starts again, and Abhi confronts the villagers. The movie ends with Abhi being hopeful that someday the system will change.
