Capcom's Resident Evil 4 has been remade and was released on March 24, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. The game follows the story of Leon S. Kennedy, a US agent tasked to rescue Ashley Graham, the daughter of the US president, from the mysterious Los Iluminados cult. With enhanced graphics and improved gameplay, players can relive the most memorable moments of the original game. While some features like quick time events have been removed, the game still maintains its core gameplay and story. Hexagon Piece Locations in Resident Evil 4 Remake

To solve a crucial puzzle in the early stages of Resident Evil 4 Remake, players must collect three Hexagon Pieces scattered throughout different areas. These pieces are required to open the puzzle podium and obtain the Depraved Idol, the most valuable treasure in the village. To begin the puzzle, players must first track down the three hexagon pieces. Hexagon piece A can be found in a safe room in the basement of a building near Chapter 3's Shooting Range, while Hexagon piece B is located on the north shore of the Fish Farm in Chapter 3. Hexagon piece C is in Chapter 4, within the Small Cave Shrine.

Where to Find All Hexagon Pieces in 'Resident Evil 4 Remake'?

In Resident Evil 4 Remake, players will encounter puzzles that are typical of the series. One such puzzle involves finding and collecting three Hexagon Pieces in order to solve it and gain extra money. This is particularly useful for those playing on the challenging hardcore difficulty level. To obtain the Hexagon Pieces, players must explore the lake area of the game. Once all three pieces have been collected, players can solve the Hexagon Puzzle near the lake.

  • In Resident Evil 4 Remake, you will come across a Hexagon puzzle that requires you to find three Hexagon Pieces to solve it and earn some extra money.
  • The first Hexagon Piece, labeled Hexagon Piece A, is located in a small holding room near the merchant, after the Quarry area. It is marked on the map and can be found along the path to the lake.
  • Proceed to the next area and drop down from the ladder to find the Hexagon puzzle opposite the western lake shore. There are already three pieces placed in the puzzle.
  • Hexagon Piece B is located in the Fish Farm, which you will pass through while getting the Boat Fuel as part of the main story. The piece can be found in the northern part of this area, and you can check the map for its exact location.
  • The last Hexagon Piece, Hexagon Piece C, can be found in the Small Cave Shrine area, which is on the main path and easy to spot. After picking up the Blasphemer’s Head, look to your right to find a small box containing the piece.
  • Once you have all three Hexagon Pieces, you can solve the puzzle by slotting them into place and rotating them to form a picture.
  • Solving the puzzle will reward you with the Depraved Idol, the most valuable piece of treasure in the village, and some extra money.

How to solve the Hexagon Puzzle in Resident Evil 4 Remake?

Each of the three Hexagon Pieces required to solve the puzzle in Resident Evil 4 Remake are scattered across various locations in the lake area, but they are all accessible without requiring any special keys.

  • Hexagon Piece A: In Chapter 3, go to the Treasure Chest across from the Merchant at the start of the chapter. It contains Hexagon Piece A.
  • Hexagon Piece B: In the Fish Farm, go straight into the water from the house where you pick up the gas container. Take a left under the pathway and head straight back to find a chest containing Hexagon Piece B.
  • Hexagon Piece C: In the northeast end of the lake, at the Small Cave Shrine, collect Blasphemer's Head item and then look to your right to find a small box containing Hexagon Piece C.
  • Place the Hexagon Pieces in the correct order: Once you have all three Hexagon Pieces, go back to the Stone Pedestal and place them in order, from A to B to C.
  • Rotate the Hexagon Pieces: You'll notice that the pieces move in groups of three, so you'll need to rotate their groupings to make the image visible. First, rotate the bottom left group of three once. Then, rotate the top group of three once.
  • Complete the puzzle: Once you've rotated the Hexagon Pieces correctly, the puzzle will be complete, and you'll be rewarded with the Depraved Idol. This item can be sold to the Merchant for 15,000 Pesetas.
