How to Solve Power Puzzles in Resident Evil 4 Remake?

There are several puzzles available to solve in Resident Evil 4 Remake. But this section will give some hints needed to solve the cave shrine puzzles alone.

At the start of Chapter 4 in Resident Evil 4 Remake, you will encounter these puzzles that need to be solved to obtain the Apostate's Head and Blasphemer's Head for the Church Key in the Mural Cave. This puzzle guide provides the location of each cave shrine and the solutions to their respective puzzles.

Cave Shrine Puzzles

After discovering the main shrine in the Mural Cave that houses the Church Key, you will notice two open hands on either side of it that appear to be designed to hold something. To locate these items, you must explore the area around the lake, but fortunately, the search won't be haphazard.

As you proceed to the next section of the cave, you will come across a painting of the lake on the wall. Interacting with it will reveal the necessary location on your map. Begin with the Small Cave Shrine on the opposite side of the lake.

1) Small Cave Shrine

• At the Small Cave Shrine, you will notice yellow markings on the wall, and upon entering the small building, you will see a device with buttons that display symbols. To unlock this shrine, you must locate the symbols on the walls and press the corresponding buttons on the device.
• Despite the prominent symbol on the wall that you encounter first, it is not the initial symbol required to solve the puzzle. The first symbol is actually located around the corner and resembles three wavy lines.
• The next symbol can be found at the top of the ladder and corresponds with the one you saw earlier. It features a curved line encircling the letter B.
• The final symbol you require is located just around the corner. When aligned with the back wall, you should see three symbols pointing toward one another.
• With all the symbols located, make your way to the device and press the buttons in the correct order. This will open the shrine, allowing you to obtain the Blasphemer's Head.

2) Large Cave Shrine

It's time to return to the boat and head to the Large Cave Shrine, which is located near the starting point. However, be prepared for a fight with several Ganados.

• The left gate is locked, so head to the right and follow the cave until you see a ladder on the right.
• First, clear out the Ganados, and then come back to the bridge. From here, you can spot the first symbol needed to unlock the shrine, which looks like two curved lines facing each other.
• Moving ahead is where you’ll find the locked shrine, and you can find the next symbol needed if you turn around from the door. It looks like the trio of symbols from before, but with only one pointing up and one pointing down.
• The final symbol is only visible from the ground below. So, turn right from where you are and drop down the ladder. At the bottom, look up at the closest cave wall to find the final symbol, which looks like an anchor.
• After finding all the symbols, climb back up to push the buttons and unlock the shrine. Here, you can obtain the apostate’s head and then head back to the boat.

How to Complete Power Puzzles in Resident Evil 4 Remake?

There are many puzzles in Resident Evil 4 Remake that could be easily completed with concentration. This section will tell how to complete Dining Room Puzzle.

Dining Room Puzzle

• In Resident Evil 4 Remake's Chapter 9, as you explore the Grand Hall of the Castle, you'll stumble upon a Dining Room Puzzle that must be solved to obtain the Snake Head. This puzzle page guides you through the solution process.
• To find the dining room, move to the left of the statue in the Grand Hall. Upon entering, you'll see the Snake Head locked away and a dining table that's completely set.
• Go to the back of the room and observe the portraits on the back wall. Look closely at them, and then return to the table to identify the two spots that match the settings from these portraits.
• One of the easiest ones to recognize is the jug with the bread roll, which is on the table nearest to the portraits at the end. Have Ashley sit here and search for the spot with a clear wine glass and no side dishes.
• This spot is situated on the next table to the left. Once you've located it, sit down and ring the bell. Ashley will follow your lead.
• This will unlock the snake head, which you can then pick up and bring to the statue!
