Introduction to Brisk

• Brisk is a vibrant port town that offers plenty of exploration opportunities. Upon entering, you'll encounter a group of colorful pirates, including Captain Klee-Shae, Keenathan, Yolanda, and Valtraid.

Initial Exploration

• Before heading to the pirates, take some time to explore Brisk. You can climb a building to the south and find a picnic basket with a Mushroom Scramble.

• Brisk is full of hidden paths and buildings to explore, so feel free to roam around and discover its secrets.

Meeting the Pirates

• Approach the pirate crew led by Yolande. Engage in some entertaining dialogue, including discussions about RPG cliches. They will introduce you to a deal that involves visiting the "Humble Boast" inn located inside a ship to the southeast of town.

Shopping and Item Merchants

• Visit the Item Merchant to the right and purchase items, including a valuable Recipe: Papillotte.
• Although the Weapon Merchant disappointingly doesn't offer new weapons, you can find other treasures in Brisk.

Climbing and Collecting

• Head north from the Item Merchant to an open area with wooden walkways. Climb onto a ledge and find a chest with Pirate Garb.
• Continue north, climb a ladder, and obtain a Shiny Pearl from another chest.
• Further exploration leads you to a chest with 30 Gold.
• Discover a minigame called "Chump's Chests" in a house and have a chance to win 10G or even a Rainbow Conch.

The Golden Pelican Restaurant

• Find "The Golden Pelican" restaurant in the northwest part of town. You'll need a reservation to dine here, which you don't have at the moment.

Rainbow Conches and More Minigames

• Continue exploring to collect Rainbow Conches, with one hidden near the beach.
• Play a minigame called "Spin Roulette" and try your luck. You can also pay for the correct number outside the house for a reward.
• Climb, jump, and navigate through buildings to access hidden chests with valuable items.
• Head to the southeast beach area to collect Seafood and another Rainbow Conch.
• Swim to a hidden merchant under the docks to make purchases, provided you have a Trader's Signet.

Meeting the Pirates at The Humble Beast

• After exploring, head to "The Humble Beast" inn inside the ship in the southeast part of town.
• Engage in a cutscene where you reunite with Garl and learn about a powerful token called the "Coin of Undeath Accord."

Wheels Game

• Discover a new minigame called "Wheels" introduced by the pirates.
• Receive items like the "Copper Wheel," "Warrior Figurine," and "Mage Figurine" from the pirates, allowing you to play the Wheels Game.
• If you win the Championship Game, you can acquire the Archer Figurine.

Embarking on a New Quest

• As you attempt to leave, the pirates will reveal their true intentions, leading to a new quest involving the "Coin of Undeath Accord." This quest appears to relate to a campfire story heard earlier.

Introduction to the Crisis

• Brisk faces a dire threat, and it's time to step in and save the city. The enemies you'll be dealing with here are "Strife Minions."

Effective Strategies Against Strife Minions

• Strife Minions are formidable foes with high HP. You'll find it more effective to use skills or boosted attacks to defeat them.
• Consider targeting the orbs the minions put down, as multi-hit skills can damage both the minions and the orbs simultaneously.

Rescue the Villagers

• Engage in battles to eliminate Strife Minions and rescue villagers. One of the first villagers you save will head towards the pirate crew for protection.

Merchant and Food

• Along your path, you'll encounter a merchant selling various items, including weapons and food. Save villagers to receive dishes from them, but be cautious if your food inventory is full, as you may have to discard excess items.

Rescue Trapped Villagers

• Continue your journey to the right, where you'll come across a trapped woman in a house. Use your wind power to free her, and she'll reward you with a Basic Salad.

Proceed to the Inn

• Move to the right and swim towards the Inn. Inside, you'll face more Strife Minions who are trying to reach a civilian. Defeat them to save the woman in the Inn, and she'll give you a Tomato Club.

Roof of the Inn

• Access the roof of the Inn by using the ladder inside. Employ your grappling hook to advance left and climb up houses, ultimately using your wind power to move a block as a platform to reach the north. Along the way, you'll encounter another Strife Minion battle.

Rescue the Trapped Man

• After overcoming the rooftop challenges, jump into a hole to reach a man who was trapped below. Use your wind power to move a block and rescue him. He'll express gratitude with Mushroom Soup.

Further North

• Continue your journey to the north and engage in another battle, this time against three Strife Minions.

City's Survivors

• After defeating the Strife Minions, head up the stairs to the northeast for a scene. You'll return to the south where the pirate crew and city's survivors are gathered.

Plan for the Future

• The survivors are divided between those who want to stay and rebuild and those who wish to leave and start anew.
• A new plan is proposed: reclaim the Vespertine, the ghost ship, which was the pirate crew's original goal. You'll be tasked with talking to the captain when you're ready to proceed.

Optional Side Trip

• Before speaking with the captain, consider taking a side trip to another area by talking to Yolande. Follow the guide for this additional adventure.

With the city's immediate crisis resolved, you're now ready to face the challenges that lie ahead, including the quest to reclaim the Vespertine.
