Sons of the Forest is an adventure and survival video game developed by Endnight Games. It is a sequel to their previous game The Forest and was released on February 23, 2023. The game is set in an open-world environment where the player takes on the role of a lone survivor who has crash-landed on a remote island which is inhabited by cannibals. The player has to explore the forest, gather resources, build shelter, and fend off hostile creatures while uncovering the mysterious secrets of the island. The game features a day-and-night cycle, dynamic weather, and a crafting system that allows players to create weapons, tools, and structures to aid in their survival. It also introduces new gameplay mechanics such as a wildlife tracking system and a revamped building system.

Sons of the Forest keycards are very important to complete the story in the game. You can easily locate these keycards. These cards can be found in three locations. Each location will open a door in the cave systems beneath your feet. After picking your GPS tracker, the locations of the keycards will be marked out for you on the map. The green icons found on the northwest of the map are the locations of your keycards.
How To Get The Sons Of The Forest Keycards?
Maintenance keycard
For getting the Maintenance keycard, first, you need to head to the marked spot on the map. You need to get a shovel and start digging. You can see a hatch leading underground. Get into the bunker and find a door on your right. You can find the orange Maintenance keycard inside.
VIP keycard
The VIP keycard can be found in the Food and Dining bunker. It is located in the cave. Get inside the cave and head towards the hatch. Now, open the hatch and get inside the bunker. You will find a door with a blue panel and you need the Maintenance keycard to open the door. Follow the path to reach a security and surveillance room. Here you can get the yellow VIP keycard.
Guest keycard
After getting the VIP keycard, look for the narrow cave entrance which was located with green icons on the map. Get inside and go through the tunnel to reach a room at the end of a corridor. Continue along the corridor heading towards the bright light on the left. Open the double door using the VIP keycard. Head upstairs and pass through the pool room. In the end, you will reach a bar and nightclub. You can get the purple Guest keycard on a circular glass table.
