On Earth-65, Gwen Stacy struggles with her relationship with her father, Captain George Stacy of the NYPD, while secretly operating as Spider-Woman. She accidentally caused the death of her friend Peter Parker, who had transformed into the Lizard. Consequently, the police have been pursuing her. Gwen encounters the Vulture from an alternate universe at the Guggenheim Museum, but with the help of Miguel O'Hara and Jessica Drew, she manages to defeat him.
