Teamfight Tactics Wiki

Teamfight Tactics (TFT) is a strategy-based auto battler game developed and published by Riot Games. The game is inspired by Dota Auto Chess and has its roots in the popular game League of Legends. In TFT, players compete against seven other opponents in an online battle to build a team that can outlast all others. The game offers several different modes, including Normal, Ranked, HyperRoll, and the newest addition, Double Up. In Double, Up, players team up with a partner to battle against three other teams made up of six players each. TFT was first released as a game mode for League of Legends on Windows and macOS in June 2019 and later became available as a standalone game for Android and iOS in March 2020. The game supports cross-platform play, allowing players to compete against each other regardless of their device.

Tft Patch Notes

Teamfight Tactics has made substantial changes to traits in the latest Patch 13.3, which includes a significant overhaul and extensive adjustments. The patch also features updates to the rerolls of Hero Augments. According to Teamfight Tactics, these larger-scale trait reworks were transferred from Patch 13.2 to 13.3 due to the recent cyberattack against Riot Games. Teamfight Tactics Lead Designer Stephen Mortimer has revealed that the latest patch will bring substantial changes to Hero Augments, granting players four rerolls to obtain the best Hero Augments for their team composition. The new refresh system ensures that no Hero Augments repeat during rerolls, providing players with a fresh set each time.

The Teamfight Tactics Patch 13.3 notes, provided by Communications Lead Rodger Caudill, detail the various updates in the game. In the "System Changes" section, players can find in-depth information about the Hero Augment revamp. The "Large Changes" section outlines the trait reworks and adjustments affecting Gadgeteen, OxForce, LaserCorps, and Underground.

Gadgeteen is undergoing a major rework to address its inability to perform as well as other traits. According to Caudill, Gadgeteen was only effective in the early game, but struggled in the mid and late game. The rework aims to fix this by providing Gadgeteen units with bonus damage and damage reduction per item equipped. With three Gadgeteen, units will gain 3% bonus damage and damage reduction per item, and with five Gadgeteen, units will receive a 12% bonus.

OxForce, LaserCorps, and Underground are also undergoing adjustments. After their temporary invincibility, OxForce units will remain at one health. LaserCorps is now a 3/5/7/9 trait, with changes to the damage dealt and the number of drones. The damage has been altered from 65/165/200 to 25/45/80/99 and the number of drones from 1/1/2 to 1/1/1/2. Underground has also been updated, changing from a 3/5 trait to 3/4/5/6, with an increase in locks cracked per win and loss.

Caudill reminds players in the latest patch notes that the Teamfight Tactics Lunar New Year event, Lunar Gala, will end on February 13. He advises players to earn all the free loot, play the last games of Fortune's Favor, and crack the Chibi Panda Annie before the themed content is removed from the game.
