The Charlatans
The Charlatans are a rock band from England that started in 1988 in the West Midlands area. The current members of the band are Tim Burgess, who is the lead singer, Mark Collins, the guitarist, Martin Blunt, who plays bass, and Tony Rogers, the keyboardist.

Ride
Ride is a rock band from England, and they started in Oxford back in 1988. The group includes Andy Bell and Mark Gardener, who both sing and play the guitar, Laurence "Loz" Colbert as the drummer, and Steve Queralt as the bassist. They're known for being important in creating a type of rock music called shoegaze, which became quite popular in the UK in the early 1990s.
Their first two albums, "Nowhere" in 1990 and "Going Blank Again" in 1992, are highly praised and seen as some of the best shoegaze albums ever. One of their songs from "Going Blank Again," called "Leave Them All Behind," even made it to No. 9 on the UK Singles Chart. "Going Blank Again" and their 1994 album "Carnival of Light" both reached No. 5 on the UK Albums Chart.
After releasing their fourth album "Tarantula," Ride took a break in 1996 and got back together in 2014 for touring. They also released albums called "Weather Diaries" in 2017 and "This Is Not a Safe Place" in 2019. Andy Bell later joined the band Oasis as their bassist in 1999.
