The Worst of Evil Episode 2 Ending Explained
In the last part of The Worst of Evil Episode 2, something surprising happens. Junmo meets a police officer, and he gets hurt by some people because of it. Everyone's curious why he would talk to a cop. But Junmo tells a lie. He says that the cop contacted him because Junmo's dad, who has a drug problem, was in jail in her area. Meanwhile, Euijeong makes a call to a senior who might know that Junmo is working undercover.
Junmo drives Gicheul and his friends home, and he learns something shocking. Gicheul's wife used to be Gicheul's first love, and they spent a lot of time together in high school. Junmo remembers seeing a necklace at her parent's house, and she had mentioned taking it back to Seoul. Now, we're left wondering if Euijeong is part of a secret mission or if she's just very close to Gicheul. Could they be in a relationship? The Worst of Evil Plot
In Episode 2 of The Worst of Evil, Jun-mo tells Do-hyung that he's sure Gicheul fell for their plan. He's all set to visit the gangster's office as per Gi-cheul's request. Meanwhile, Gicheul meets with Tae-ho's father to inquire about Tae-ho's cousin, Seung-ho. Tae-ho's father reveals that Tae-ho and Seung-ho were close, and they grew up together.
He returns the compensation money Gicheul gave him, asking him to stop visiting because it reminds him of his late son. Later, Jun-mo confronts Gicheul at his office and refuses to take a bribe, posing as Seung-ho. A brawl ensues, showcasing Jun-mo's fighting skills. Impressed, Gicheul asks what Jun-mo wants, and Jun-mo vows to avenge his cousin's death. The gang begins to question if they can trust Jun-mo just because of his relation to Tae-ho.
That night, Gi-cheul's goons follow Jun-mo, who's searching for Sergeant Jang to solve an ongoing case. Meanwhile, Gi-cheul's right-hand man, Hee-sung, plans to betray Gi-cheul with Hee-do's help. Gicheul arranges a meeting with Jun-mo at an abandoned factory, and Hee-do's men unexpectedly attack them. However, the tables turn when Gi-cheul's hidden goons join the fray. Do-hyung watches from outside and considers calling the police.
Jun-mo joins the fight to show loyalty, and it ends with Gicheul warning Hee-do against returning. Gi-cheul reveals he already avenged Tae-ho by killing Sergeant Jang. He then calls Dong-hyuk and ends their compensation arrangement, angering the gangster boss. Jun-mo agrees to join Gi-cheul's gang and starts training as the junior.
He patrols the neighborhoods and eventually learns that the gang may be involved in illegal activities. Meanwhile, Eui-jeong discovers Jun-mo's secret, and their meeting with Gicheul raises suspicions among the gang members. The episode ends when Jun-mo notices a necklace on Gicheul that belonged to Eui-jeong.
