Thursday Band
Thursday is a famous American post-hardcore band that was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, back in 1997. The group consists of Geoff Rickly as the lead vocalist, Tom Keeley playing lead guitar and lending his backing vocals, Steve Pedulla handling rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Tim Payne on bass, and Tucker Rule as the drummer.
They've had quite a journey in the world of music, releasing their first album, "Waiting," in 1999. Over the years, they gained popularity with their second album, "Full Collapse," in 2001 and their third album, "War All the Time," in 2003, which even reached the seventh spot on the US Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.
Despite announcing an indefinite break in 2011, they made a comeback in 2016 and have continued to rock the stage ever since. Their music is known for influencing the post-hardcore scene in the 2000s and helping popularize the darker emo sound and intense screaming vocals.
