Top Boy Season 3 Plot
The first series of the revival takes place six years after the original series. Dushane has been living in Jamaica, working at his cousin's car-rental shop. He strikes a deal with imprisoned drug lord Sugar and returns to London to sell Sugar's product and regain his position as Top Boy, with the help of Dris and Jaq, who ran Summerhouse while Dushane was away. However, a new crew led by the ruthless Jamie from London Fields opposes Dushane's return.
During Dushane's absence, London has become more gentrified, and living costs have risen. He also discovers that his sick mother is now cared for by Shelley, a young carer and single mother who forms a strong bond with Dushane. Sully is in prison with Modie, a rival gang leader from London Fields.
An altercation escalates to the point where Sully throws boiling sugar water on Modie's face. Modie seeks revenge on Sully after escaping prison with the help of Sully's cousin Jermaine. When Sully is released, he teams up with Dushane, and the two start selling in Ramsgate. However, after a tragic incident, Sully reluctantly reunites with Dushane. Meanwhile, Dris, who suffered a stroke, faces challenges upon Dushane's return.
Jamie, driven by the need to provide for his younger brothers after his parent's deaths, partners with an upper-class Irish drug supplier, Lizzie, and her husband, Jeffery. He seeks power and clashes with Dushane's crew at Summerhouse, leading to a plot involving the police finding weapons and drugs in Jamie's flat, resulting in his imprisonment orchestrated by Dushane.
