The Grammy Awards is a prestigious honor presented by The Recording Academy of the United States, given for exceptional accomplishments in the music  business. Formerly called the Gramophone Awards, they are one of the four main annual entertainment awards in the United States, along with the Tony Awards for theater, the Academy Awards for film, and the Emmy Awards for television. All artists consider this award to be very important, but many artists have won more than one Grammary award; some have also gotten dozens. The artists who have received the most awards are listed below.

Beyoncé

With 32 Grammy Awards, American singer-songwriter-actress Beyoncé has become the most awarded artist in Grammy history. She is renowned for her dynamic performances in a variety of genres, inventive music videos, and strong vocals. She became the artist with the most wins ever in 2023 when she took home the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for her 2022 album, Renaissance.

Sir Georg Solti 

British conductor Sir Georg Solti was born in Hungary and is well-known for his renditions of Wagner, Mozart, and Strauss compositions. With 31 victories, he holds the record for the most Grammy Awards won by a single person and the most in the classical field. In 1997, he won the Best Opera Recording Award for Wagner: Die Meistersinger Von Nurnberg.

Quincy Jones

Record producer, composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist Quincy Jones hails from the United States and has won 28 Grammy Awards. His work has been in over ten genres, including pop, rap, R&B, jazz, children's, and more. Jones has collaborated with well-known figures in the music business and made contributions to a variety of genres, such as pop, jazz, and film scores. At the 61st Grammy Awards, he won Best Music Film. 

Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss, a singer-songwriter from America, has won 27 Grammy Awards in the bluegrass-country genre. She is renowned for her exquisite voice and skilled violin playing, and she has received significant recognition for both her solo work and her collaborations with Union Station. She is the only female artist in Country Field to have received the most accolades.

Chick Corea

American jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader Chick Corea is recognized for his inventive jazz fusion style and contributions to contemporary jazz piano with 26 Grammy Awards. With 27 Grammys as a solo artist, he presently holds the record for most jazz Grammy wins among artists. Four Latin Grammy Awards have been given to Corea for his Latin jazz piano style.

Pierre Boulez

Pierre Boulez, a French pianist, conductor, and composer, was renowned for both his avant-garde compositions and his 20th-century classical music interpretations. He won 26 Grammy Awards for his recordings, the majority of which included works by well-known composers like Bartók, Berg, and Debussy. In 2015, The Recording Academy presented him with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

John Williams

American pianist, conductor, and composer John Williams is a 25-time Grammy Award winner for his memorable film scores, which include Schindler's List, Jaws, and Star Wars. For his work on the Star Wars film series, he has received six awards and twelve in the music for visual media field. His most recent victory was for "Escapades for Alto Saxophone and Orchestra From Catch Me If You Can," which won Best Arrangement, Instrumental, or A Cappella.

Vladimir Horowitz

Vladimir Horowitz, a well-known American classical pianist of Russian descent, was renowned for his virtuoso performances and poignant renditions of romantic piano pieces. From the 1960s through the 1990s, he won 25 Grammy Awards, one for each decade. Horowitz was also honored with a Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1990 and has five Grammy Hall of Fame albums.

Stevie Wonder

American singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer Stevie Wonder is a 25-time Grammy Award winner. He is renowned for his socially conscious lyrics, inventive use of technology, and soulful voice. The only artist in Grammy history to win five or more prizes on three different occasions is Wonder. "Stevie Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life — An All-Star Grammy Salute," a 2015 television special, honored his career and Grammy history.

David Frost

David Frost is a well-known British classical music producer who has won 25 Grammy Awards for his contributions to classical recordings. He was well known for his meticulous attention to detail and his ability to capture live performances in the studio. Frost has won seven Grammys in total, including three in the categories of Best Classical Engineered Recording and Best Opera Recording. He also won two awards at the 2023 Grammys for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album and Best Opera Recording.

Jay-Z

Influential American rapper, songwriter, and record executive Jay-Z is tied with Kanye West for the most Grammy Awards ever won by a rapper, with 24 victories. In addition to his partnerships with Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, and Beyoncé, he has won in all four Rap Field categories. Hip-hop fans credit his lyrical skill, business acumen, and cultural influence for his success.

Kanye West is a 24-time Grammy Award-winning American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and fashion designer. He is known for his innovative production style, distinctive music videos, and candid style. Apart from competing against himself, he's been nominated twice and won Best Rap Album (2011), Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song (2012), Best Rap Song and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group (2007), and Best Rap Album again in 2011. For the title of best Grammy-winning rapper, he and Jay Z are currently.
