Warframe Gameplay

Warframe is a free game where you control a powerful combat unit called a Warframe. You start with basic weapons and a spaceship called an Orbiter, guided by an A.I. named Ordis who calls you "Operator." Your main goal is to explore the Origin System.

As you play, you can unlock the ability to control the Operator, the true protagonist, who can project out of the Warframe, called "Transference." The Operator has unique abilities and can further transform into a larger mechanical unit called a Necramech. Warframe is designed to be free-to-play without pay-to-win elements. Most items can be earned in-game, though using Platinum can speed up the process. Players can buy cosmetics with Credits or Platinum, and some cosmetics are available only through in-game payments.
