Krasley first appeared on My 600-Lb Life in 2020, when she was 28 and weighed 606.7 pounds. She was living in New Jersey with her wife, sister, mother, dog, and sister's fiancé at the time. Krasley admitted on the show that she felt guilty about the strain her weight was putting on her wife, Beth, and their marriage.
Krasley and her sister had a difficult childhood because they were forced to live with their abusive father even after their parents divorced. Krasley used food as a coping mechanism for her abuse, depression, and anxiety. She said, “what made me forget the pain was eating. I was trying to just constantly eat whenever I could.”
By the time she graduated high school, the reality star weighed 450 pounds and had reached the 500-pound mark at the age of 19. Krasley struggled to lose the required 50 pounds before surgery when she appeared on the show.
