When Giuliana Rancic battled breast cancer in 2011, she kept the message close to her heart and by her bedside. However, the fashion designer is taking stock of her experience and appreciating how far she has gone ten years after beating the illness.
"My biggest self-discovery after cancer and treatment was realising I was stronger than I had thought I was," Giuliana shared with E! News in an exclusive interview. "I love knowing that I have come out of that experience a stronger woman."
The former co-anchor of E! News admitted that when she was first diagnosed, she was anxious about what lay ahead. The 48-year-old, however, comes to the realisation that she was never fighting alone as she continues to tell her experience.
"I wish I knew how many other survivors and women battling breast cancer there were," she said. "I also wish I knew how desperately the medical field needs to receive the support to continue the work they do to find a life-saving cure."
