Who Is Gloom?
Gloom is a Canadian Youtuber. Kassima "Kassie" Isabelle is the real name of Gloom. Earlier, she was known by the name CloudyApples. Initially, she introduced herself on CloudyApples in 2011. Cloudy Apples is a lifestyle-based Youtube Channel. She had a two-year break but then came back in 2013. Then she decided to move on, and launched another channel in 2015, called "GloomGames". That later became Gloom.
What Happened To Gloom?
On 8th January 2022, Gloom announced in a video titled "Signing Off".She posted that video intending to take a break due to stress from a scary condition, in which she thought she had breast cancer. But after some tests, it was found that fortunately, she had only a lump in her breast that was just a cyst. She came to know, that she did not have breast cancer. In one of her videos, Kassie also told that she had an aunt who was also named Kassima, who died from cancer.

As per some sources, in 2022, there was a rumour told by many sites that Gloom passed away because of Cancer. At that time, Gloom told in the "Signing Off" video that she does not have cancer. But neither her close friends nor family member has confirmed anything about that information. Gloom’s Youtube channel mostly contained gaming and commentary videos. At present, it includes vlogs, skits, and parody arts-and-crafts and cooking videos.

Kassie was brought up with three siblings; an older brother, an older sister and a younger sister. Kassie was born on 19th December 1990 in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. She is 30 years old. But she spent most of her childhood in Singapore. After she came back to Canada, she started elementary school. There she was often bullied due to her physical appearance who resembled a Chinese person. She began to combat against that bullying, as her self-esteem went down.

At the time of her middle school, she was introduced to a girl named Ashleigh, who became her best friend. Nearly at the end of her middle school years of Kassie, Ashleigh switched schools. Then Kassie's family faced problems that created more anxiety for her. She didn't disclose it to others as she felt that she don’t want them to feel pity for her.
