How to Fix IE Error in LG Washing Machine?
Step 1– Check the Supply Taps
The first thing you should do is check that both the hot and cold water supply taps are turned on fully. If they are not, turn them on and then check if the problem has been solved. If the taps are already fully turned on, move on to the next step.
Step 2 – Check the Hoses for Damage
Carefully pull the washing machine out from the wall so you can access the water hoses. Check the hoses for any kinks, cracks, or other damage. If you find any issues, fix the hoses or replace them if necessary. Be sure to move the washing machine carefully so you don't damage the hoses further. Once repaired or replaced, turn your washer back on and check if the error code has gone. If the error code persists, move on to the next step.
Step 3 – Check the Hoses for Blockages
Turn off both the hot and cold water supply taps. Grab a bucket to drain the hoses into when you disconnect them. Disconnect the hoses (one by one) from the tap end first and drain the water into the bucket. Check the hoses for any blockages. If you find any blockages, clean them out and then reattach the hoses to the washing machine. If there are no blockages, move on to the next step.
Step 4 – Check the Valve Filters
Check each of the inlet filters for any blockages. If the filters are blocked or clogged with dirt or other debris, clean them out and put them back in place. Once you've cleaned the filters, reattach the hoses to the taps and washing machine. Check that the error code has gone, and if so, you can start to use your washing machine again!
