Who's up for another cooking session with Next Level Chef? Another Gordon Ramsay-hosted cooking series has us giddy with anticipation, and this one is especially nice because it has a unique concept. There will be a total of 18 chefs in Season 2, all of whom are either home cooks, social media chefs, or working chefs. And this is what distinguishes this competition series from others. You still have the chance to participate in the show and maybe even win even if you don't have any professional expertise.
The award this year consists of a $250,000 reward as well as a year of mentoring from Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington, and Richard Blais. Although the program functions somewhat similarly to NBC's singing competition series The Voice, things heat up in this kitchen. There are three teams of competing cooks, each headed by a mentor. And the winning team (and mentor) will be announced. So, there is undeniable pressure.

To win the one-year mentorship with all three mentors and the $250,000 cash prize, a variety of home cooks, social media chefs, industry professionals, and more will be competing hard in the kitchen (really, there are three levels!).
What To Expect From This Week's Episode Of Next Level Chef Season 2?
The remaining 17 candidates on Next Level Chef will compete in a cook-off in episode two that will test their culinary skills. The chefs will have to follow the mentors' introduction of a particular topic, cuisine, or dish in each episode when preparing their meals. The contestants on the upcoming episode of Next Level Chef will prepare Mexican cuisine. The three teams will prepare their meals on a set with three distinct floors or tiers, each under the direction of one of the three mentors or judges. Gordon Ramsay's squad was saved by Tucker, the previous episode's challenge winner. This week, they will be using the best ingredients.
Because the elevator will descend each slide from top to bottom, cooking in stages is important. The contestants must choose as many ingredients as they can in the allotted time from the elevator, which will remain on each floor for a total of 15 seconds.
