Mason Rudolph Draft
Mason Rudolph was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round (76th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft. Going into the draft, Rudolph was projected to be a second-round pick by most experts and scouts. He was ranked as the sixth-best quarterback prospect in the draft by several prominent draft analysts.
Rudolph attended the NFL Scouting Combine and completed the majority of the combine drills but opted to skip some of the drills such as the bench press, broad jump, short shuttle, and three-cone drill. He did participate in passing drills and met privately with scouts and team representatives from several NFL teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants, and Los Angeles Chargers.
In addition to the combine, Rudolph also participated in Oklahoma State's pro day on March 15, 2018. At the pro day, he completed the three-cone drill, short shuttle, and broad jump, as well as running passing drills for scouts in attendance.
