During the shooting at Denver East High School, two adult male faculty members, identified as Jerald Mason and Eric Sinclair, were shot by a 17-year-old student. Fortunately, both victims survived the shooting, according to Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas, who made the announcement during a news conference. The Denver Post also reported that both Mason and Sinclair are administrators at the school.

As of the 22nd of march evening, Sinclair remains in serious condition following surgery, while Mason has already been discharged from the hospital.
