A TikTok personality named Felix Cipher has become the focal point of an internet uproar after declaring themselves to be the rebirth of infamous German dictator, Adolf Hitler.
Felix Cipher posted several videos that caused alarm among the TikTok community, one of which depicted them donning a Nazi emblem, and another in which they proclaimed to have been Hitler in a previous life.
As a result of the controversy, Felix Cipher's presence on major social media platforms like TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook seems to have been removed or deleted by the individual themselves.
Felix Cipher TikTok Egg Playlist Controversy
On February 6, Felix Cipher caused a stir on TikTok with their post about a massive septum nose ring. The jewelry was shaped like a toothbrush moustache that was reminiscent of a certain German dictator.
The post, which has since been deleted, also showed Cipher wearing a grey military jacket that was adorned with a pin featuring the German Imperial Eagle, also known as the Reichsadler. This symbol was used during the Nazi era between 1933 and 1945.
The TikTok video quickly gained attention and sparked backlash, with many users taking to TikTok to express their outrage at the use of the Nazi symbols. The True Adventures, a TikTok account run by two Holocaust survivors, made a duet with the original video and captioned it, "Not cool, Felix."
In response to the controversy, Felix posted another TikTok in which they claimed to be the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler. In the video, Felix stated that they were "very in tune with their past and past lives" and that their last life was "very infamous."
Felix also claimed that they had flashbacks of this previous life as a child, and that a scar on the side of their head was evidence of the former incarnation's suicide. Despite the reactions from the public, Felix stood by their belief, stating that various experiences in their life have connected them to their past.
Felix Cipher fired after going viral
Felix's claims have elicited strong reactions from some individuals online who are seeking to uncover more information about the TikTok personality.
One user reportedly located Felix's place of work and alerted their employer with a complaint. According to a screenshot, Felix no longer works at the establishment due to their beliefs not aligning with those of the company.
Despite the criticism, some internet users are willing to give Felix the benefit of the doubt. The couple behind The True Adventures TikTok account, writing for The Times Of Israel, posited that Felix could be engaging in cosplay or deliberately attempting to shock and provoke through their clothing and videos.
However, they also expressed concern about Felix's mental health and what might have motivated them to produce such content.
