Dune: Part Two

Dune: Part Two Plot
The story continues with Princess Irulan secretly believing that Paul Atreides might still be alive, while her father, Emperor Shaddam IV, feels down after House Atreides falls. Paul and Lady Jessica, along with Stilgar's Fremen troops, face an ambush but manage to overcome it on their way to Sietch Tabr on Arrakis. Some Fremen suspect Jessica and Paul of being spies, but others believe in the prophecy of a mother and son bringing prosperity to Arrakis.
Stilgar tells Jessica that their Reverend Mother is dying and convinces her to drink the deadly Water of Life to replace her. Jessica survives and gains the memories of her female ancestors. Jessica is secretly pregnant with Paul's sister, and the Water of Life awakens her daughter's mind before birth. Jessica begins to have spiritual conversations with her unborn child and believes they must convince the North of Arrakis first of the prophecy.
Paul learns the Fremen ways, forms a romantic relationship with Chani, and assists in raids on Harkonnen spice harvesters. He earns the titles "Muad'Dib" and "Usul" and becomes a prominent figure in the Fremen religion. Feyd-Rautha becomes the new ruler of Arrakis after Rabban fails to stop the Fremen revolts.
Paul's mother Jessica completes her religious quest in the North and travels South to unite with fundamentalists. Paul fears a holy war if he proceeds South as a messiah and remains in the North to fight the Harkonnens. He reunites with Gurney Halleck and prepares for war, finding atomic warheads hidden by House Atreides.
Fleyd's troops attack Sietch Tabr, and Paul consumes the Water of Life against Chani's wishes. He gains insight into the past and future and challenges the Emperor. Paul launches atomic warheads at Arrakeen's stronghold fortress and defeats Feyd-Rautha in a duel. He orders the Emperor to surrender the Imperial throne to him.
The Emperor gives in to Paul's demands, and Irulan offers her hand in marriage to him. Chani, upset by Paul's decision, leaves. Many Great Houses refuse to accept Paul's ascendancy, so he orders his Fremen army to lead them to paradise. Jessica and the unborn Alia reflect on the beginning of Muad'Dib's holy war.
