He learns from a farmer about the threats posed by a rival named Malik Mukhtar and his son, Malik Zubair, who is causing trouble for the villagers. As a responsible and ruthless leader, Murtasim is infuriated by this information. When Malik tries to claim land owned by Murtasim, it triggers a confrontation that intensifies their rivalry.

Meanwhile, Meerab Waqas Ahmad, known as Meerab Anwar Khan by birth, is a respected lawyer in Karachi. She is an ambitious and beautiful young woman who dreams of pursuing higher studies and following in her father's footsteps. Her world revolves around her parents, and she takes a stand against social injustices, speaking out for the oppressed. She is cherished by her family and college friends, which gives her a sense of pride and self-worth.

In Hyderabad, Murtasim's mother, Salma Begum, holds a respected position in the village. She is known as "Khaanum" and is revered for her regal presence in the grand mansion of the Khans. She fantasizes about marrying him and behaves possessively, despite Murtasim treating her like a younger sister and rejecting her advances.

Anwar Khan, Murtasim's paternal uncle and a close friend of Meerab's father, learns of Meerab's desire to study law. He informs Salma Begum about Waqas' support for Meerab's ambition. Salma Begum, who holds conservative and backward views, believes that women in her family should not pursue careers in the legal field.
