WNBA All Star Voting 2023

The WNBA All-Star Voting for 2023 will begin on Wednesday, June 7 at 2 p.m. ET and conclude on Wednesday, June 21 at 11:59 p.m. ET. During this period, fans will have the opportunity to vote for the All-Star starters.

The 2023 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game will take place in Las Vegas at the Michelob Ultra Arena, home of the defending WNBA Champion Las Vegas Aces, on Saturday, July 15. The game will be broadcasted on ABC at 5:30 p.m. PT/8:00 p.m. ET. Prior to the game, there will be a half-hour edition of WNBA Countdown on ABC at 5:00 p.m. PT/8:00 p.m. ET.

Throughout the voting period, fans can submit one full ballot each day through WNBA.com and the WNBA App. Additionally, fans can vote for up to 10 unique players per day on Instagram. All WNBA players currently on team rosters will be eligible for selection. There will be three "2-for-1 Days" on June 11, June 16, and June 21, during which votes cast through Instagram, WNBA.com, and the WNBA App will count double. Each "2-for-1 Day" will be active from midnight ET to 11:59 p.m. ET.

The selection process for the All-Star starters will involve the participation of fans, WNBA players, and a media panel. Fans will have a 50 percent share in the voting, while current players and the media panel will each have a 25 percent share. Players and media panelists will complete a ballot featuring four guards and six frontcourt players.

Once all the votes are collected, players will be ranked by position (guard and frontcourt) within each voting group (fan votes, player votes, and media votes). A player's score will be determined by averaging their weighted rank from the three voting groups. The four guards and six frontcourt players with the highest scores will be named as the starters for the AT&T WNBA All-Star 2023. In case of a tie in a position group, fan voting will serve as the tiebreaker.

The announcement of the 10 All-Star starters, including the two captains, will take place on Sunday, June 25. Following the starter announcement, the league's head coaches will vote to select the 12 reserves. Coaches will vote for three guards, five frontcourt players, and four players regardless of position or conference affiliation. They are not allowed to vote for their own players. The reserves will be unveiled on Saturday, July 1.

The captains, who are the two All-Star starters with the most fan votes, will then participate in a draft to form their respective rosters. They will first select from the remaining eight players in the pool of starters and then choose from the pool of 12 reserves. The WNBA All-Star Team Selection Special will be broadcasted on ESPN on Saturday, July 8 at 1 p.m. ET.
