What is WWE?
WWE 2K23, a professional wrestling sports video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports, is set to release on March 17, 2023, for various platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.. Notably, WWE 2K23 is the first game in the series to feature double title entrances since WWE 2K14 and include WarGames as a playable match type. Additionally, after six years of absence, Cody Rhodes will be returning as a playable character.
Those who pre-order any edition of WWE 2K23 will get to play as Bad Bunny. The Deluxe Edition includes early access, a Season Pass, The MyRISE Mega-Boost Pack, The Supercharger Pack, and MyFaction cards. The Icon Edition contains all the content of the Deluxe Edition plus the Ruthless Aggression Content Pack, featuring early versions of John Cena, Batista, Brock Lesnar, and Randy Orton, as well as the Icon Edition Content Pack.

After its tremendous success last season, WWE 2K23 is set to solidify Visual Concepts' leadership in the wrestling game arena. In the coming days, the studio will unveil details about various game modes and features in the new release, including the wrestlers included in the downloadable content, which were announced today. Similar to WWE 2K22, the latest version will offer up to five DLC packs, with each pack containing five new characters to expand an already extensive lineup of dozens of WWE Superstars.
The Season Pass, which will be available for sale on the game's launch day and included in the Deluxe and Icon editions, features five packs with unique content. The contents of each pack are as follows:
Steiner Row Pack: Includes Scott Steiner, Rick Steiner, B-Fab, Top Dolla, and Ashante Adonis.
Pretty Sweet Pack: Includes Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Tiffany Stratton, Elton Prince, and Kit Wilson.
Race to NXT Pack: Includes Harley Race, Ivey Nile, Wendy Choo, Tony D’Angelo, and Trick Williams.
Rebel with Wyatt Pack: Includes Bray Wyatt, Zeus, Sarah Logan, Joe Gacy, and Blaire Davenport.
The first pack features the popular 90's duo, the Steiners, as well as current stars like Ashante Adonis. The subsequent DLC will introduce other notable wrestlers such as Karl "The Machine Gun" Anderson, Harley Race, Bray Wyatt, Wade Barrett, Zeus, and Eve Torres.

WWE 2K23 Playable Wrestlers
The scheduled release of WWE 2K23 is set for March 17, 2023, and it will feature 201 playable wrestlers, some of whom will be appearing for the first time in WWE 2K history, while others will be making a return after being absent from the WWE 2K22 roster. Fortunately, additional downloadable content (DLC) packs are planned to be released after the launch, featuring over two dozen more wrestlers, including some that were initially left out. The DLC packs and the respective release dates, along with the wrestlers included in each pack, are listed below.
The Steiner Row Pack, which includes Scott Steiner, Rick Steiner, Top Dolla, Ashante Adonis, and B-Fab (Manager Only), is set to be released on April 19, 2023.
The Pretty Sweet Pack, which includes Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Tiffany Stratton, Elton Prince, and Kit Wilson, is scheduled for release on May 17, 2023.
The Race to NXT Pack, featuring Harley Race, Ivy Nile, Wendy Choo, Tony D’Angelo, and Trick Williams, will be released on June 14, 2023.
On July 19, 2023, the Revel with Wyatt Pack will be released, featuring Bray Wyatt, Zeus, Valhalla, Joe Gacy, and Blair Davenport. Among the wrestlers included in this DLC pack, five will be making their WWE 2K debut.
The Bad News U Pack, set for release on August 16, 2023, will include Eve Torres, Wade Barrett, Damon Kemp, Andre Chase, and Nathan Frazer. It is noteworthy that two of these wrestlers, Wade Barrett and Nathan Frazer, will be making their return to WWE 2K after not appearing in WWE 2K22. In total, twenty wrestlers will be making their WWE 2K debut through the DLC packs.
