AI Airport Services Limited (formerly Air India Air Transport Services Limited) is seeking to fill current vacancies and establish a waitlist for future openings.

Indian Nationals (both Male and Female) who meet the specified requirements are invited to apply for various positions at Cochin International Airport. These roles are offered on a Fixed Term Contract basis for 3 years, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and operational needs. Internal candidates are also encouraged to apply. Please note that the number of vacancies listed is indicative and may change according to operational requirements.

Qualification Details

Ramp Service Executive

• Qualifications: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Electronics, or Automobile recognized by the State Government; or ITI with NCTVT (total 3 years) in Motor Vehicle, Auto Electrical, Air Conditioning, Diesel Mechanic, Bench Fitter, or Welder (with one year of experience for Welders). Must have completed SSC or an equivalent examination with Hindi, English, or a Local Language as one of the subjects.
• Additional Requirement: Candidates must present a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) license at the time of the Trade Test.

Utility Agent Cum Ramp Driver

• Qualifications: SSC/10th Standard Pass.
• Additional Requirement: Candidates must carry a valid HMV Driving License when appearing for the Trade Test.

Handyman / Handywoman

• Qualifications: SSC/10th Standard Pass.
• Additional Requirement: Must be able to read and understand English. Knowledge of local and Hindi languages is desirable, including the ability to understand and speak them.

Pay Scale

• Ramp Service Executive: Rs.24,960/-
• Utility Agent cum Ramp Driver: Rs.21,270/-
• Handyman / Handywomen: Rs.18,840/-

Age Limit

Candidates must be 28 years old or younger. Those belonging to the OBC category are entitled to a 3-year age relaxation, while candidates from the SC/ST category receive a 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit, in accordance with Government rules. Additionally, age relaxation for Ex-servicemen will be granted as per Government guidelines.

Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundred Only) is required, payable via Demand Draft in favor of “AI AIRPORT SERVICES LIMITED,” and should be made payable at Mumbai. Ex-servicemen and candidates from SC/ST communities are exempt from this fee. Please ensure to write your full name and mobile number on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.

Selection Procedure

Ramp Service Executive:

• Trade Test: Includes assessments of trade knowledge and an HMV driving test. Only candidates who pass will be invited for an interview.
• Interview: Conducted on the same day or the following day.

Utility Agent Cum Ramp Driver:

• Trade Test: Similar to the Ramp Service Executive; only candidates who succeed will proceed to the interview.
• Interview: Conducted on the same day or the following day.

Handyman / Handywoman:

• Physical Endurance Test: Involves activities such as weight lifting and running. Only those who qualify will be interviewed.
• Interview: Conducted on the same day or the following day.

• October 7, 2024: 09:00 to 12:00 hrs
