Bank of Barodo will be hiring services of FLC Counsellors for various centers in the states where FLCCs are functioning. The details of role & responsibility along with qualification and remuneration of the personnel proposed to be hired as Counsellors by Bank are as under some eligibility criteria. Qualifications

  1. Must have a graduate degree from a recognized university. Preference will be given to those with a postgraduate degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Sociology, Psychology, or Social Work.
  2. Must be fluent in the local language.
  3. Should have a talent for teaching and knowledge of computers.

Candidates for the FLCC counselor position can come from the open market. They should have a good understanding of banking, insurance, investment, pensions, law, finance, communication, and team-building skills.

Experience:

  • Must be a former banker with at least 5 years of experience in a nationalized bank, RRB, or private bank. OR
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in banking or related fields, NBFCs, or FIs. OR
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience as a business correspondent or BC-Coordinator. OR
  • Must be a former RSETI Director or Faculty with at least 5 years of experience.

Age

  • Must be no older than 64 years at the time of appointment, subject to good health.

Resident

  • Should be a resident of the respective state, preferably from the same district.

A panel may be formed to interview shortlisted candidates. The panel may include the bank's LDM, DDM of NABARD of the respective district, and RM/DRM of the respective region to recommend final candidates for selection to the zone. The Zonal Head will make the final decision on the engagement of the candidate.

Procedures for Hiring FLCCs

Selection Process:

  • Candidates will be selected through an interview only.

Advertisement:

  • Job vacancies will be advertised on the bank's website and in local newspapers by the respective Regional Office.
  • The Regional Manager, where the FLC operates or is planned to operate, will approve and release the advertisement and its expenses.

Inviting Applications:

  • Applications will be invited from eligible candidates online or directly by the respective Regional Office.
  • The application format can be found in Annexure-III on this PDF in official site.
  • Preference will be given to candidates residing in the same district.
  • Any changes to the application format must be approved by the General Manager-CC, RRBS & RSETIS department, HO, Baroda through the RSETIS and Special Programs Department at HO.
