Bank of Maharashtra, a prominent public sector bank headquartered in Pune with over 2,500 branches, is inviting online applications for the engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended).

Selected Apprentices will receive training tailored to the bank's needs. This program is designed to provide high-quality training and experiential learning, combining both foundational and practical on-the-job training.
Qualification
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies. Additionally, apprentices should be proficient in the local language (reading, writing, and speaking) of the respective State or Union Territory. Applicants must provide a 10th or 12th-grade mark sheet or certificate that demonstrates proficiency in one of the local languages.
Salary
Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹9,000 for a one-year engagement period. Please note that apprentices will not be eligible for any additional allowances or benefits.
Application Fee
- UR / EWS / OBC: 150 + GST
- SC / ST: 100 + GST
- PwBD: Exempted
- Candidates have the option of making the payment of requisite fees / intimation charges through the ONLINE mode only.
- Payment of fees / intimation charges through the ONLINE MODE from 14.10.2024 to 24.10.2024 and no other mode of payment is acceptable.
Selection Process
- Candidates must register online on the bank's website, providing their 12th-grade (HSC/10+2) or Diploma percentage. A merit list for apprentices will be prepared state-wise, based on the marks obtained in these examinations. In case of ties, candidates will be ranked by age.
- For those who completed an Engineering degree after a Diploma, the Diploma marks will be considered for the merit list. The computerized merit list will reflect the information provided in the online application; discrepancies during document verification will result in disqualification.
- Eligibility does not guarantee selection, and the bank reserves the right to modify selection criteria as needed. Finally selected candidates must submit their applications and required documents through the web portal https://nats.education.gov.in after registering.
Application Procedure
- Candidates should visit the Bank's website at https://bankofmaharashtra.in, navigate to ‘Careers’ → ‘Current Openings,’ and click on the link for “Online application for Engagement of Apprentices, under the Apprentices Act, 1961 - Project 2024-25.” Select the “APPLY ONLINE” option to open a new screen.
- To register, click on “Click here for New Registration” and provide your name, contact details, and email address. The system will generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password, which will be displayed on the screen.
- Candidates should note these down, as an email and SMS will also be sent with this information.
- Visually impaired candidates are advised to fill out the application form carefully and verify the details before final submission.
- After completing other sections of the Application Form, click on the Preview Tab to review all information.
- Make any necessary modifications, and only click ‘COMPLETE REGISTRATION’ once you have verified that the photograph, signature, and other details are correct.
- The online application period is open from October 14, 2024, to October 24, 2024.
