Applications are invited for the engagement of Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act of 1961 and the Apprenticeship Rules of 1991, as amended periodically. This opportunity is available at Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited, Kalpakkam-603 102, located in Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu. Join us to take on a range of challenging responsibilities.
Qualification required
- Passed 10th class examination with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent, and hold an ITI Pass Certificate in the Fitter Trade.
- Passed 10th class examination with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent, and hold an ITI Pass Certificate in the Machinist Trade.
- Passed 10th class examination under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent, or passed 10th class with Science (Physics and Chemistry) under the 10+2 system, and hold an ITI Pass Certificate in the Digital Photographer/Photographer Trade.
- Passed 10th class examination with Mathematics under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent, and hold an ITI Pass Certificate in Maintenance Mechanic (Chemical Plant) or the Fitter Trade.
- Passed 10th class examination under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent, and hold an ITI Pass Certificate in the Computer Operator and Programming Assistant Trade.
- Passed 10th class examination under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent, and hold an ITI Pass Certificate in the Instrument Mechanic Trade.
- Passed 10th class examination with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent, and hold an ITI Pass Certificate in the Electrician Trade.
- Passed 10th class examination under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent, and hold an ITI Pass Certificate in the Mechanic Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Trade.
- Passed 10th class examination with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent, and hold an ITI Pass Certificate in the Draughtsman (Mechanical) Trade.
Age Limit and Place of Training
Place of Training: Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited, Kalpakkam-603 102, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu,
Candidates to be at least 16 years old. The maximum age limit is 24 years for General and EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) candidates.
Age relaxation for Reserved Categories is as follows:
- SC (Scheduled Castes): Relaxation up to 5 years.
- OBC (NCL) (Other Backward Classes, Non-Creamy Layer): Relaxation up to 3 years.
- PWBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): Relaxation up to 10 years.
Stipend Details
- A minimum stipend of Rs. 8,855/- per month will be provided to apprentices who have completed a two-year ITI course.
- A minimum stipend of Rs. 7,700/- per month will be provided to apprentices who have completed a one-year ITI course.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be shortlisted for training based on their marks obtained in the ITI standard/course and their trade competency. Selection will consider both the academic performance in the ITI course and the practical skills relevant to the trade.
How to Apply
- Registration: Interested and eligible candidates must first register on the web portal http://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in to enroll as Apprentices. Applications will not be accepted without this registration and the unique registration number obtained from the portal.
- AADHAR Verification: Candidates must complete their AADHAR verification on https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and attach a screenshot of the "AADHAR verified" status (hard copy) with their application. They must also provide their Unique Enrolment ID in the application. Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be considered for further processing.
- Download Application Form: Candidates can download the Application Form (Annexure-I) from the BHAVINI website https://bhavini.nic.in. Ensure eligibility for Apprentice Training before applying.
- Submission: The completed application should be submitted in the format provided in the advertisement, preferably typed on A4 size paper. The outer cover of the application should be clearly marked with "APPLICATION FOR ENGAGEMENT OF TRADE APPRENTICE against Notice No. BHAVINI/HR/TA-III/2024".
- The duly filled application form, with your passport-sized photograph affixed in the space provided, along with all supporting documents, should be sent to the following address: Manager (HR) Recruitment Section, Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI), Kalpakkam-603 102, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu.
- The completed application must reach us by the last date, 02.08.2024. Applications received after this date, for any reason, will not be considered.
