Qualification Overview
Must be an Indian citizen
Candidates should be no older than 35 years on the closing date of the application
No marriage to a person with a living spouse unless legally permitted
No conviction by any court
Not dismissed from government service
Not terminated from BSF during probation.
People who were affected by the riots in 1984 or 2002 and lived in Jammu & Kashmir during a specific period also get extra age relaxation.
