To address the immediate needs of DMRC and its associated projects, applications are sought from experienced, dynamic, and motivated IRSEE officers or former IRSEE officers of the Indian Railways.

This opportunity is available to current or retired officers from Government Organizations or Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) with relevant experience in Electrical department or Rolling Stock maintenance and operations, and who are familiar with computerized environments. The positions are available on a Deputation or Post-Retirement Contractual Engagement basis.

Eligibility Criteria

For Candidates in/Retired from CDA Pay Scale:

IRSEE/Ex-IRSEE officers currently working in or retired (for Post-Retirement Contractual Engagement only) from the CDA pay scale at Level 14 (₹144,200 – ₹218,200) as per the 7th CPC, in any Government Organization/Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs), including deputation service in the same pay scale, with a total of 18 years of service at Gazetted/Executive level, are eligible to apply. Officers in the Non-Functional Grade at Level-14 may also apply.

For Candidates in/Retired from IDA Pay Scale:

IRSEE/Ex-IRSEE officers currently working in or retired (for Post-Retirement Contractual Engagement only) from the IDA pay scale of ₹120,000 – ₹280,000 in any Government Organization/CPSUs, including deputation service in the same pay scale, with a total of 18 years of service at Gazetted/Executive level, are eligible to apply.

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing Electrical work related to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.

Place of Posting

The selected candidate will initially be posted in Delhi/NCR. However, they may be assigned or transferred to any of the corporation's offices or project sites across India or abroad.

Age Limit

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2024): Max. 55 years, Min. 55 Years and Max. 62 Years

Pay and Emoluments

  • For candidate selected on Deputation basis – The selected candidate shall continue to draw parent department pay plus deputation allowance, as applicable, under the Govt. of India rules.
  • For candidate selected on PRCE basis – The selected candidate shall be eligible for a consolidated fee of Rs. 1,65,900/- per month for the said post. The emoluments are in terms of the extant rules of DMRC.
  • The remuneration will be based on their last substantive grade, subject to a maximum amount as indicated above. Candidates must be working in / retired from, a substantive grade, on regular basis and MACP benefits, etc., would not be considered.

Selection Process

  • For candidates applying on a Deputation basis, selection will involve a Personal Interview.
  • For candidates applying on a Post-Retirement Contractual Engagement basis, selection will include both a Personal Interview and a Medical Fitness Examination. The Medical Examination will be in the Executive/Technical category, with details available on the DMRC website.
  • The selection process will assess various aspects such as knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude, and physical fitness.
  • Candidates must pass the Screening Process and Medical Examination (if applicable) to be considered suitable for selection.
  • Candidates who do not pass the medical test will not be offered alternative employment. The Corporation's decision on this matter will be final.

How to Apply

  • The deadline for submitting the completed application (with relevant documents) via Speed Post or email is 05/09/2024. Incomplete applications or those received after this date will be rejected. DMRC is not responsible for any postal delays or losses.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be listed on the DMRC website in the third week of September 2024 (tentatively), and interviews will be conducted online in the fourth week of September 2024 (tentatively). Details will be posted on the DMRC website.
  • No separate communication will be sent to candidates by post. Candidates should check the DMRC website for interview instructions and schedules and attend the interview with original copies of their testimonials.
  • The final result is expected to be announced in the first week of October 2024 (tentatively).
  • Candidates currently employed in Government organizations or Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) must submit their application through the proper channel, including Vigilance and D&AR clearance in the attached proforma at Annexure-II and copies of APARs for the last five years. These applications must reach the specified address or email by the deadline. Applications sent directly by the candidate will not be considered.
