The Gujarat High Court Qualification and Age Limit

Stenographers

English Steno. Grade-II (Class-II)

  • You need to have a degree from a known university or an equivalent qualification accepted by the government. 
  • You also need to type fast in shorthand, at least 120 words per minute in English. You should also know how to use a computer, as required by a government decision from August 13, 2008.
  • Sufficient knowledge of English, Gujarati, and Hindi Language.

English Steno. Grade – III (Class-III)

  • You need to have a degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification approved by the government.
  • You should also be able to write shorthand at 100 words per minute in English. You must know how to use a computer, as required by a government resolution from August 13, 2008.
  • Sufficient knowledge of English, Gujarati, and Hindi Language.

Age Limit (Stenographers)

To apply for the position of English Stenographer Grade-II, you must be between 21 and 40 years old. For English Stenographer Grade-III, the age range is between 21 and 35 years old. This age requirement is based on your age as of May 26, 2024, which is the deadline for submitting your application online. Translator

Age Limit (Translator)

If you want to apply for these jobs, you have to be at least 18 years old but not older than 35 by May 26, 2024, which is the last day to apply online. Specific age criteria might vary based on factors like the applicant category and recruitment advertisement.

The Gujarat High Court Application Fees

Stenographers

From May 6th to May 26th, 2024, candidates need to pay fees if they want to apply for a job. The fee depends on which category they belong to. For some categories, the fee is Rs. 750 plus bank charges. For everyone else, it's Rs. 1500 plus bank charges.

You can pay the fees online using SBI e-Pay on the application website. Or, you can pay offline by going to an SBI branch and using Cash-Challan. You have to pay the fees within the specified time. Once you pay, you can't get a refund, and you can't use that fee for any future job applications.

Translators

Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (SEBC), EWS, PH, and Ex-Servicemen categories need to pay Rs. 750, while all other candidates must pay Rs. 1500. Payment can be made online or offline.
