Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Graduate from a recognized university.
Shorthand speed of 100 words per minute in English.
Basic knowledge of computer operation (certificate as prescribed by the State Government).

Age Limit:

Minimum age: 18 years
Maximum age: 35 years (as of the last date for submitting the online application).

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST/SEBC & EWS (Gujarat Origin): 5 years
Women Candidates: 5 years
Differently Abled Persons (PH): 10 years
Ex-Servicemen: Actual service rendered plus 3 years
Employees of District Courts/High Court: 5 years or the number of years of service, whichever is less

Selection Process

The selection process for the High Court of Gujarat's English Stenographer Grade II includes three stages: a Main Written Test, a Stenography/Skill Test, and a Viva-voce Test (Oral Interview). Final selection is based on the aggregate marks obtained across these stages.

Stenography/Skill Test

Final Selection

Based on aggregate marks from the Main Written Test, Stenography/Skill Test, and Viva-voce Test.
