Selection Procedure
Selection will be based on the screening of applications and testimonials in line with eligibility criteria, followed by a personal interview conducted by the Selection Committee.
If the number of applications is high, the Corporation may use one or more of the following criteria to shortlist candidates for the interview:
Incomplete applications will be rejected outright.
A merit list will be prepared based on the shortlisting criteria, computer-based tests, and personal interviews, with offers of appointment made according to available vacancies in each category and discipline. Candidates from SC/ST/OBC-NC and PwBD categories will be evaluated under relaxed standards during the interview.
A category-wise merit list will be created based on interview scores, with minimum qualifying marks set at 60% for UR and EWS candidates, and 54% for OBC-NC, SC/ST, and PwBD candidates.

Before starting the application, ensure you have:
Fill out the online application form with all required details carefully, as changes cannot be made once submitted. Upload the scanned photograph and your CV, then click the "Submit" button. You will receive a system-generated unique 12-digit Application/Reference Number, which is essential for future correspondence.
Print the completed Online Application Form, affix your recent passport-sized photograph, sign in the designated space, and keep it for your records. Do not send a hard copy to HPCL.
Submitting multiple applications for the same discipline may result in disqualification. The details entered in the online application form will be considered final, and no changes will be allowed afterward.
