Online applications are invited from candidates with a valid Sports Gradation Certificate as per the Haryana Sports Department Policy dated 25.05.2018, including any amendments. The special recruitment for 76 posts of TGT (Physical Education) under the ESP/OSP quota in Elementary Education, Haryana, as advertised in Advt. No. 12/2024, is open.

Number of Vacancies

The total number of TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) vacancies is 76.

  • 49 Posts of TGT (Physical Education) Rest of Haryana (Male)
  • 24 Posts of TGT (Physical Education) Rest of Haryana (Female)
  • 2 Posts of TGT (Physical Education) Mewat Cadre (Male)
  • 1 Posts of TGT (Physical Education) Mewat Cadre (Female)

Essential Qualification

  • A graduate with a Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or a Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed.) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
  • A certificate showing qualification in the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) in Physical Education.
  • Hindi or Sanskrit must be included as one of the subjects in matriculation or Hindi must be a subject in higher education.

Age Limit

  • The age limit for applicants is 18 to 42 years. For those eligible for age relaxation under various categories, the maximum age limit is extended to 52 years.
  • Applicants from any category (excluding Ex-servicemen) who are eligible for age relaxation may have an upper age limit of 52 years. However, age relaxation is not applicable to sons, daughters, or dependents of Ex-servicemen.
  • Age relaxation for SC/BC-A/BC-B/ESM categories is only available for posts reserved for these categories. SC/BC-A/BC-B/ESM candidates applying for General Category posts are not eligible for age relaxation.

Selection Methodology

Written Examination Details:

  • Format: The examination will be offline (OMR-based) and bilingual (English and Hindi).
  • Questions: All 100 questions are compulsory, each worth 0.95 marks. Candidates must choose one answer from five options.
  • Marking: There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. However, if a candidate leaves a question unanswered, 0.95 marks will be deducted for each unattempted question.
  • Additional Time: An extra five minutes will be provided to mark the fifth option if a candidate is unsure of the answer. The total duration of the exam will be 105 minutes, including the additional five minutes.

How to apply

  • Read Instructions: Review instructions and procedures carefully before starting the online application form.
  • Verify and Upload: Check all details on the printout for accuracy and upload required documents before final submission.
  • Apply Early: Submit your application well before the deadline. Ensure all details are correct before submission.
  • Editing: You can edit your application until the closing date. No changes will be allowed after the deadline. Requests for modifications after the closing date will not be entertained.
  • Save Credentials: After applying, note your Registration Number and Password. Keep a printout for future reference and reprinting if needed.
  • Password Security: Protect your password. No changes to application details will be accepted after the closing date if unauthorized access occurs.
  • Final Printout: Print the application form and e-Challan/fee receipt after successful submission for your records.
  • Document Submission: Bring the hard copy of the application form and all uploaded documents if requested by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission. Unuploaded documents will not be accepted, but additional documentation may be requested for clarification.
