IBPS PO Interview Process

The IBPS PO Interview Process follows the Online Main Examination for CRP- PO/MTXIII qualifiers. Candidates are summoned for interviews by Participating Banks, facilitated by IBPS. Interviews are held at designated centers.

The interview carries a total of 100 marks. To qualify, candidates must attain a minimum of 40% marks (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates). The assessment ratio for the Online Main Exam to interview is 80:20, respectively. 

During the interview, candidates' communication skills, banking knowledge, and overall suitability for the role of Probationary Officer are evaluated. The interview stage is crucial as it plays a significant role in the final selection process, determining the candidates' competence and readiness for the position.

IBPS PO 2024 Selection Process

The IBPS PO 2024 Selection Process consists of three stages: Prelims Exam, Mains Exam, and Interview. Candidates need to achieve a minimum score in both the Prelims and Mains exams to qualify for the Interview round. Additionally, they must obtain a combined score high enough to be shortlisted for the interview.

The final selection is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the Mains Exam and Interview collectively. Candidates need to excel in all stages to increase their chances of being appointed as a Probationary Officer. The process ensures that candidates possess the necessary skills and knowledge required for the role, including proficiency in banking concepts, aptitude, and communication abilities.

IBPS PO Exam Date 2024

Candidates will appear for the Preliminary Exam on the 19th and 20th October 2024. Those who qualify will progress to the Main Exam, scheduled for 30th November 2024.
