Eligibility
- Citizenship:
- You must be an Indian citizen.
- Age:
- You must be at least 19 years old as of August 31, 2024. There is no relaxation in the minimum age limit.
- Educational Qualification:
- You need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of agriculture or allied sciences.
- The degree should be:
- 4 years or more: B.Sc. (Ag.), B.Tech. (Ag.)
- 5 years: B.V.Sc. & AH
- 5½ years: B.V.Sc. & AH (including internship)
- Degrees of 3 years duration are generally not accepted except for specific courses at two ICAR-Deemed Universities: IARI and NDRI.
- Minimum Marks:
- You must have passed your bachelor's degree with the required minimum marks as specified by the respective university or program.
- State Quota:
- No more than 40% of candidates from any one state will be admitted to any agricultural university in a particular subject and category.
