Department & Work Profile

  • Tourism Department of IRCTC/WZ for Bharat Gaurav Trains

Responsibilities

  • Technical and operational coordination for Bharat Gaurav Trains.
  • Handling technical issues on running trains including watering, fueling, and coordination with Railways for placement, shunting, and movement.
  • Coordinating maintenance of rakes at Coaching Depots, Yards, Workshops, etc.

Eligibility:

  • Retired Sr. Section Engineer in Mechanical (C&W/workshop) or Electrical (train lighting/AC maintenance in open line/workshop).
  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical field.

Age Limit: 

  • Up to 64 years

Remuneration:

  • 50% of the last pay with no annual increment during the contract period.
  • Conveyance charges and mobile charges are admissible.
  • TA-DA rules are applicable for outstation assignments.

  • Monitoring and liaisoning with Zonal Railways/Railway Board and IRCTC/Zonal/Regional Offices for rail-based tourism products.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and liaisoning with Zonal Railways/Railway Board and IRCTC/Zonal/Regional Offices for Aastha Special Trains and rail-based tourism products.
  • Communicating train movements, especially for Control Office runs in shifts.

Eligibility

  • Retired Railway Officials from the Operating/Traffic Department of Indian Railways, including Masters/Traffic Inspectors/Controllers/Chief Yard Masters, etc.

Age Limit

  • Up to 64 years

Remuneration

  • 50% of the last pay with no annual increment during the contract period.
  • Travel, boarding, and lodging expenses are reimbursed as per TA-DA rules for outstation assignments.
