MHSRB Recruitment 2024
The Medical & Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) is inviting applications for 633 Pharmacist Grade-II vacancies. Eligible candidates should be between 18 and 46 years old as of July 1, 2024, and possess qualifications such as D.Pharmacy, B.Pharmacy, or Pharm.D, along with registration with the Telangana Pharmacy Council.

The application process includes a Rs. 500 examination fee and a Rs. 200 application fee, though certain categories are exempt from the application fee.
The selection process involves a Computer-Based Test on November 30, 2024, consisting of 80 multiple-choice questions. Key dates include the online application window from October 5 to October 21, 2024, and an editing window from October 23 to October 24, 2024. Applicants must submit complete and accurate forms, as incomplete or incorrect submissions will be rejected.
Qualification for MHSRB Recruitment 2024
- Must possess any one of the following qualifications as on the date of notification: D.Pharmacy
- B.Pharmacy
- Pharm.D
- Must be registered with Telangana Pharmacy Council. (However, applicants can register their certificates with Telangana Pharmacy Council as on date of their application and should upload this certificate online).
- At the time of verification of certificates, if it is noticed that any applicant who possesses a qualification other than requisite qualification and claims that said qualification is equivalent to the requisite qualification, the matter shall be referred to an ‘Expert Committee’ constituted by the Board and the Board will take a decision based on the report of the ‘Expert Committee’.
Age Limit for MHSRB Recruitment 2024
- The applicants should possess a minimum age of 18 years and cannot exceed maximum age of 46 years.
- The age is reckoned as on 01/07/2024 (Rule-12(1)(a)(v) of State and Subordinate Service Rules).
- (Upper age limit of 46 years is considered as per G.O.Ms.No.30, General Administration(Ser.A) Dept., Dt:08/02/2024).
Selection Process for MHSRB Recruitment 2024
- The selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT), consisting of 80 multiple-choice questions. Each question is worth one mark.
- The CBT is scheduled for 30th November 2024.
- If the exam is conducted in multiple sessions, score normalization will be applied. If held in a single session, no normalization will be necessary.
- After the exam, the answer key will be released, and applicants can submit objections online. Objections submitted through other means will not be considered.
- A committee of experts will review the objections before finalizing the answer key. No further objections will be accepted once the final key is published.
- In case any questions are deleted, the marks will be distributed proportionately among all candidates. Scores will be calculated up to three decimal places to determine the final merit.
- The question paper will be in English only.
