Northern Coalfields Limited (A Subsidiary of Coal India Limited) is seeking applications for the position of Full Time Advisor (L&R) on a contractual basis. This position is open to retired executives of CIL, its subsidiaries, and Coal PSUs. The initial engagement is for one year, with the possibility of extension for another year based on performance and organizational needs. Please note that voluntary retirement scheme (VRS) optees are ineligible for consideration.

Eligibility Criteria

Experience:

The position requires candidates who have retired from the roles of Executive Director (E9 grade) or General Manager (E8 grade) from Coal India Limited (CIL), its subsidiaries, or other Coal PSUs. They should have a minimum of three years' experience in roles such as Manager cum Head of Department (HOD) of Revenue/Rehabilitation or Executive Director of Land & Revenue/Rehabilitation within CIL, its subsidiaries, or other Coal PSUs.

Nature of Work:

• Physical and Family Survey: Conduct surveys of notified/acquired land to assess assets/houses and compile lists of Project Affected Families (PAFs) or Project Affected Persons (PAPs).
• Compensation Roll Preparation: Prepare compensation rolls for land, assets, and houses based on assessments.
• Physical Possession of Acquired Land: Manage the process of taking physical possession of acquired non-forest land.
• Authentication and Mutation: Verify acquired land and facilitate the mutation process of acquired non-forest land in favor of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL).

Salary Details

(i) Consolidated Monthly Compensation/ Honorarium:

• For Retired E-9 Grade Executive: Rs. 1,20,000/- per month.
• For Retired E-8 Grade Executive: Rs. 1,05,000/- per month.

(ii) Conveyance Charges:

• The company will provide conveyance for Full-time Advisors based on availability.
• If conveyance is not provided, advisors will be eligible for 5% of their consolidated pay per month as conveyance charges.

(iii) Accommodation Facility:

• Suitable accommodation will be provided based on the company's availability.

(iv) Reimbursement for Mobile Telephones:

• Reimbursement will be provided for the use of mobile telephones based on actual bills or Rs. 2,750/- per month, whichever is less.

(v) Medical Benefits:

• Retired executives of Coal India Limited (CIL) covered under the Post Retiral Medical Benefits Scheme will continue to receive benefits under that scheme.
• Advisors appointed who were not covered under CIL's scheme will be provided similar medical coverage if they are not already covered under any other post retiral medical scheme.

• Details of Experience & Promotion
• Certificate of scale of pay

3. The deadline for submission is 25.07.2024, 3:00 PM.

4. Candidates should clearly indicate "Application for the post of Advisor (L&R) NCL" on the envelope if applying by post.

5. For applications sent via email, the subject line should state "Application for the post of Advisor (L&R) NCL". Applications received after the specified deadline will not be considered.
