Northern Coalfields Limited (a subsidiary of Coal India Limited) is seeking applications for the position of one (01) Full-Time Advisor (Marketing & Sales). This role is open to retired executives from Coal India Limited (CIL), its subsidiaries, and other Coal PSUs. The engagement will be on a fixed tenure basis for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on CIL's policy regarding the engagement of retired CMDs, Directors, and senior executives as Full-Time or Part-Time Advisors.
Eligibility Criteria
Nature of Work
- The Full-Time Advisor (Marketing & Sales) will provide guidance and support to Directors, General Managers, Heads of Departments, and the Marketing & Sales (M&S) Department. The key responsibilities include:
- Augmenting Coal Dispatch: Offer advice on strategies to enhance the overall coal dispatch of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) to maximize coal offtake.
- Compliance with Directives: Provide guidance on adhering to directives and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Coal (MoC) and Coal India Limited (CIL) related to Marketing & Sales.
- Marketing & Sales Strategies: Advise on key marketing and sales strategies, as well as commercial issues, to ensure that NCL's interests are fully protected.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks assigned as needed, in accordance with organizational requirements.
Experience
- Retired from the position of Chief Manager (E7 grade) or General Manager (E8 grade) in the Marketing & Sales discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in the Marketing & Sales Department, which should include work at the Subsidiary Headquarters/Corporate Office as well as Area/Project offices.
- Experience should be with Coal India Limited (CIL), its subsidiaries, or any other Coal Public Sector Undertaking (PSU).
Salary Details
- Conveyance Charges: The company will provide conveyance for Full-Time Advisors based on availability. If conveyance is not provided, Advisors will be eligible for a conveyance charge amounting to 5% of their consolidated pay per month.
- Accommodation Facility: Suitable accommodation will be provided by the company if available. If company accommodation is not available, a consolidated amount will be paid as compensation.
