  • The selection of eligible applicants for training under the Apprentice Act, 1961 will be based on a merit list created from the average percentage of marks obtained in both the Matriculation (with a minimum of 50% aggregate) and the ITI examinations, giving equal weight to both.
  • Candidates shortlisted from this list will be invited for document and certificate verification, up to 1.5 times the number of available vacancies.
  • In the event that two applicants have the same marks, preference will be given to the older candidate. If their dates of birth are also the same, the applicant who passed the Matriculation exam earlier will be prioritized. There will be no written test or viva.
  • The final merit list will be organized by unit, trade, and community, corresponding to the number of available slots, in descending order of percentage marks obtained.
  • Applicants are not required to send physical copies of their application, certificates, or documents to RRCNCR; instead, they must upload all necessary documents online.

Application Procedure

  • Applicants must apply online by visiting www.rrcpryj.org. Detailed instructions for completing the online application will be available on the website.
  • It's crucial to fill in personal details such as Aadhaar number, PAN number, marks, CGPA, and preferences for divisions, workshops, and trades accurately, as the computerized merit list will be generated based solely on this information.
  • Any discrepancies found during document verification will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Applicants must possess an Aadhaar card and enter the 12-digit Aadhaar number during registration. If an applicant has enrolled for Aadhaar but has not yet received the card, they may use the 28-digit Aadhaar Enrolment ID from the enrolment slip. This provision applies to all applicants across India.
  • At the time of document verification, applicants must present their original Aadhaar card or the aforementioned documents.
  • It's essential that the name, father’s name, and date of birth match exactly with what is recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent certificate.
