NHM Odisha Recruitment 2024

A Walk-in Interview will be held to fill the following vacant position under the National Health Mission, Odisha, on a contractual basis. The monthly remuneration is specified and is subject to renewal according to the terms and conditions of the OSH&FW Society. Please note that this position is purely temporary and will end with the scheme. The minimum age requirement is 21 years as of September 1, 2024.

Qualification 

Educational Qualifications:

• MBBS Degree from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
• One of the following additional qualifications:
• PG Degree in PSM or DNB in PSM
• Master’s Degree in Public Health or Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management (2-year course duration) or Diploma in Public Health Management (2-year course duration)
• Master’s Degree in Applied Epidemiology
• Valid registration with the Odisha Council of Medical Registration.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in public health programs/facilities.

Alternate Qualifications: Candidates with the following qualifications must also meet the experience requirement:

• Master’s Degree in Public Health or Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management (2-year course duration) from a recognized university/institution with a minimum of 60% marks, along with one of the following degrees:
• Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
• Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)
• Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery (BUMS)
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• B. Pharma
• 5 years of post-qualification experience in public health programs/facilities is required.

Remuneration 

Remuneration: ₹59,707 + Performance Incentive (P.I.) and other admissible allowances.

Age Limit

Upper Age Limit: As of September 1, 2024, candidates must be up to 45 years old.

Age Relaxation: Employees of the OSH&FW Society may be eligible for age relaxation and additional weightage of marks. To qualify, these employees must have completed at least three terms of contractual service (11 months each) under the OSH&FW Society.
